Our Coffees

We offer our customers a wide variety of coffee specialties, which feature following quality-characteristics:

• Exclusively hand-picked highlands Arabica beans

• These are roasted directly by Schärf in Austria, using an especially gentle
rotational roasting method

• All specialties are prepared by the Barista, using secret recipes

• The perfect cup of coffee is guaranteed by the Schärf piston coffee machine

• The "One-Stop Principle" ensures good digestibility of the coffee specialties
as well as a low content of caffeine.

The roast period amounts between 12 and 14 minutes and is carried out in a barrel roaster, whereby we pay accurate attention to a constant enhancement of heat, in order to avoid harmful, sudden temperature changes. Throughout the roast, approximately 1000 new substances are created; sugar and proteins conjoin and create an aromatic compound. Likewise, the chemical constitution of the acid alters during the roast and the coffee gains in expressiveness. Towards the end of the roast, oils are released, which round off the taste of the coffee.
