On the 8^th and 9th October the "European Coffee Symposium" will take place in Vienna. One agenda highlight is the visit of participating coffee experts of the Schärf World “The ART of coffee” in Neusiedl am See. At the multinational meeting in the Vienna Hofburg companies of the coffee sector will be honoured. The nomination of the Coffeeshop Company for the "Most Admired Coffee Chain fire Austria and Germany" means the first time a possible award for an Austrian company in this business.

"The creation of harmony between human beings and coffee is important to me. This nomination for a Company Award proves that we successfully managed. It means a lot in terms of motivation for my team and me, especially for further consistent expansion plans”, says Reinhold Schärf, CEO of Schärf Coffee Shop GmbH.

The "European Coffee Symposium" is the premier event of the coffee industry. From the 8th to 9th October the European meeting will take place in the Vienna Hofburg, with its first time “Meet the Buyer Event”. One agenda highlight is a visit to the exclusive ambiance of the Schärf World "The ART of coffee" in Neusiedl am See. There, coffee industry giants will find a multimedia company tour, personally presented by Coffeeshop Company founder Reinhold Schärf. In the Vienna Hofburg Mr. Schärf will further present his vision and ideas, based on his principles: “Loving two things: Coffee and human beings!”

Nominated for Top Award
More than 300 experts nominated the Austrian Schärf Coffeeshop Company for an award in the category of" Most Admired Coffee Chain fire Austria and Germany". The nomination is based on the in the “Allegra European Coffee Leader Survey".
"My goal was to create an atmosphere that enhances the enjoyment of coffee. That's the reason for the Coffeeshop Company. With high quality standards and total commitment I built this company success together with my team. The nomination alongside with industry giants like McCafé and Starbucks clearly demonstrates, that the Austrian Coffeeshop Company has established itself as a global international brand in the market" adds Schärf.

Not only coffee, but also other caffeinated beverages, do not dehydrate the body at all. The nutritionist Judith Bünker states: "The advice, to drink the same amount of water, to every cup of coffee, in order to compensate fluid depletion, is scientifically not sustainable." Furthermore, the renowned German researcher states that coffee can be looked upon as beverage, like water, and not as diuretic item.

The caffeine, contained in coffee, does not have any negative impact on the human body. However, dosage counts. Scientists agreed, according to the release, that regular consumption of caffeinated beverages is not harmful, if the total daily amount does not exceed 300 mg caffeine.

From now on, the Russian market may enjoy the incomparable coffee quality of the Coffeeshop Company. First locations have been opened in St. Petersburg and Archangelsk. More shops are to come! The basis for the expansion in the land of tea has already been set in the middle of 2008.
