The Barista/Service Staff

Employment as part and fulltime staff:

The Barista is a kind of “coffee barkeeper”. While a “normal” barkeeper primarily deals with cocktails and alcoholic beverages, the is Barista is a coffee specialist without equal.

The Barista loves and lives for coffee. The Coffeeshop Company Baristas are however not just trained as barkeepers, they are simultaneously waiters in the Viennese tradition, preparing food as well as providing service. Chef training is however not part of the programme.

The primary task remains the preparation of unique coffee delights unmatched in both flavour and appearance.

Requirements:

  • completed System Catering Specialist training
  • passion for coffee
  • endurance
  • well groomed and friendly
  • able to provide service
  • good maths & calculation skills
  • good English skills

Tasks:

  • food & drink preparation
  • coffee specialities preparation
  • use of technical equipment
  • assistance and sales
  • hygiene management
  • service
